Q: How do I request an Absentee Ballot?
A: You have 4 easy options:
1.Call the County Clerk’s Office and ask for one to be mailed to you.

2.Go to the County Clerk’s website, download an absentee ballot, print it, fill it out, mail it or drop it off at the County Clerk’s Office or in the secure drop box behind the Lander Courthouse.

3.Go to the County Clerk’s website, download an absentee ballot, print it, fill it out, scan it, and email it to the County Clerk’s Office. Place “Absentee Ballot Request” in the subject line, provide your name, date of birth, residential address, phone number, and mailing address.

4.Go to the County Clerk’s Office and ask for an absentee ballot.

*You may request an Absentee Ballot Form at any time during the calendar year in which the election is held. But not on Primary Election Day, 08.16 or on General Election Day, 11.08

See if you are still registered, call the County Clerk 307-332-1088 or 1089 to see if you are STILL registered. Ask about getting your Absentee Ballot sent to your home to vote!  

Voting in person? IMPORTANT: Bring Your ID to the Voting Center

1. Register and Vote early for the General Election beginning
Friday, 09.23 until Monday, 11.07 at the Lander County Courthouse. 
OR
2. Register & Vote in person at ANY Voting Centers on General Election Day, Tuesday, 11.08 
But Why Wait, Do it Now. 

All Fremont County voters can vote at ANY Fremont County Voting Centers.

General Election Vote By Mail Request Deadline

Recommended Deadline to Mail Your Ballot Back, the Earlier the Better**
**Ballots can be dropped off at your voter registration locations, dropped into the only secure, ballot drop box located behind the Lander Courthouse, or mailed. The U.S. Postal Service recommends voters mail their ballot by October 18.

All Voters May Register and Vote at ANY 8 Voting Centers or Polling Places on General Election Day, Tuesday, November 8
